Interviews with Waldia residents regarding the current situation. New information about Woldia. Woldia is a city in northern Ethiopia, Woreda, the capital of the North Wolo Zone. The city is located north of Decay and southeast of Lalibela in the Amhara region, at an altitude of 2112 meters above sea level. A notable landmark is a church, Weldiya Gabriel. As of this Saturday, it looked like the TPLF could make inroads into the city of Waldia, prompting Waldia University students to evacuate the campus (as reported by DW Amharic).
