The amazing story on EBS. Haimanot found her sister. The Keep Walking campaign announced Africa’s top 30 lists of most influential Africans this year, presenting a selected group of next-generation African creatives and visionaries who boldly push culture forward while impacting the continent’s creative economy in music, film, media, fashion, and art. The list is the result of two months of rigorous searching with top talent managers and industry leaders across the continent to identify a definitive list of pan-African cultural shape-shifters, initiated by Johnnie Walker and Trace. “We’re thrilled to have collaborated with Johnnie Walker to launch this new awards platform and identify this inspiring group of cultural shapeshifters. They all take their paths, adding nuance and progress to African culture, which the rest of the world is noticing,” Trace Managing Director for Southern Africa, Valentine Gaudin-Muteba, stated. With African culture gaining momentum and acceptance worldwide, the Keep Walking: Africa Top 30 list includes names impacting global culture. Fanuel Leul, an Ethiopian digital artist, is among the 30. The digital artist has been active for a few years, but his popularity and vision gained attention after Rophnan’s album artwork introduced the public to his work.
