Comedian Filfilu’s new year funny video. I visited the Job Creation Commission website after talking to a friend who owns his own business and wants to hire young professionals. They all shared a familiar feeling of frustration. The challenge is many, not just finding young professionals looking for work. The challenge was to find people who regularly show up on time, who want to get their work done, or who want to learn how to do it with ongoing issues. One of the people who wanted to work for his company told me that he interviewed job applicants with his parents who answered all the interview questions. Another told me they hired three young professionals after grueling interviews that didn’t last even a week. The reason was that I hated having to get up early in the morning to avoid traffic jams and get to work on time. Imagine! One of the employers had a great time discussing this and trying to figure out what the root of the problem was They are about to start their first full-fledged jobs out of college. I’ve never had a chance to understand how the professional world works before.
